Carson Ridge Evergreens Tree Farm is located in the picturesque Apple Hill region of El Dorado County. We are owned and operated by a family that was one of the first “Choose and Cut” tree farmers in El Dorado County more than 55 years ago. You choose the tree, we cut it for you or show you how to do it yourself.

Proper cutting is of prime importance because we then promote a new tree from the stump of your tree. Young trees help improve air quality for all of us and there are no wasted trees at the end of the season.

Carson Ridge Evergreens is within easy driving distance from the Bay Area, Sacramento, and South Lake Tahoe. [Google Map] Many families arrive early, choose their tree and continue the adventure by bringing a picnic and visiting nearby apple farms, wineries and breweries along the Apple Hill route.

We pride ourselves on being a full-service El Dorado County Christmas tree farm. Employees are available to help as much as you want. We provide the trees, saws, packaging and twine plus greenery and candy canes with your tree purchase. All this in the beautiful Apple Hill area of El Dorado County.
